We are excited to bring you another major release of Harmony. This post includes changes and features that have been added in this version, with links related to each feature for an in depth walk through.

Setup menu enhancement

Our setup menu has been redesigned with a far more logical approach in mind. Settings and functionality are now grouped by the areas they affect. For example., all settings relating to quotes are found under Setup > Quotes > Settings.

Contract changes

  • Schedule contract types have been replaced with Committed Subscriptions. However, if you are upgrading from a previous version of Harmony you are still able to use any existing schedules on this release.
  • Consumption products have changed to PAYG subscriptions
  • Billing Lines have been renamed as Contract Lines
  • Rate Contracts are now called Contracts

Product family enhancements

Contract Line types have been imbedded within the product configuration and are used to auto populate the Sales Term fields when creating a product. This makes creating products a lot easier and as a result they are easier to understand. As part of this change, the product venue model for consumption type products that was called Volume Based, has been changed to PAYG Subscription.

Ingram Micro integration

Harmony PSA is now able to integrate with Ingram Micro's Cloud Market Place for cloud subscription purchases and their Technology Solutions platform for the sale of hardware items.
