LONDON— December 14, 2017—Harmony Business Systems Ltd., the company behind Harmony PSA, today announced it has appointed Alistair Forbes as the company's Chairman. He will also join Harmony’s board of directors. Forbes, a highly experienced and respected figure in the MSP space, will work with Harmony’s leadership team to apply his extensive knowledge in the managed services sector and experience in driving global growth as the company enters the next phase of its ambitious growth plans.

Forbes will draw on his experience in both technical and general management roles across a number of high-growth software businesses and his earlier experience in larger corporate environments. He was co-founder and CTO of HoundDog Technology, the UK-based RMM platform developer that was a pioneer of SaaS solutions for the MSP market and was acquired by GFI Software in 2009. Remaining with GFI in the role of General Manager of the GFI MAX division, Forbes led the business to a global leadership position before it was spun out as LOGICnow and ultimately acquired by SolarWinds in July 2016.
He has served in numerous other technology roles in industries ranging from pharmaceuticals to venture capital. Relevant positions include Technical Director of Intuitus Ltd; CTO of ADAS Internet Solutions; and Head of eCommerce and Technology Strategy of Scottish and Southern Energy plc. He is also a board member of Auvik Networks, Inc. and recently took up the position of Investment Director with responsibility for Software and the Internet at Mercia Technologies plc.
